Interview with Kathy Vallotton.

Being a mom, one of the most important things is what you believe about yourself in that role. Moms, you are doing a great job.

The enemy was constantly telling Kathy that she isn’t doing enough! You are not just raising kids to get them from 0 -18. No, you are creating world changers.
It is not a small job, but a big responsibility.
Each child was hand picked for you! It is the greatest responsibility you will have in life.

People asked me what is your favorite stage, was the best stage?
All stages are great!

Show kids affection in front of your kids.

Often time we teach kids things that aren’t true, and specially about God.
We don’t want to award kids for doing bad things.

We need to teach kids with their behavior, before they get a sex drive.
Kids need to learn how in a healthy way get their needs met, before they get a sex – drive.

The best thing you can teach your kids is, you can’t have everything when you want it.

Information to fathers>

– Be there. Father be there for your kids. So many have the mentality that dads go to work and mom stay with the kids. I think whoever staying home has the hardest job.
It is important that you help home, speak into the life of the kids. You are not of the clock until your kids are in bed.
That is the cycle of life. We are created to raise the kids, then to be thinking about me, I and I all the time.

We had great memories from raising the kids.

Important to have conflict and solution in front of kids. It’s important that kids don’t grow up in a glass home.
There is nothing unhealthy about a conflict, but how you handle to a conflict matters.

Your failures are you kids success.
It’s more important to put priorities into your kids then into your things.

The world tells us its more important to have a beautiful car, beautiful house, or a clean house, then just choose your kids! Choose your kids. There is always tomorrow.

Choose relationships over things! Things are going to pass away. Your family is everlasting.

Talk about raising spiritual children

Its important the kids experience not just the bible but God.
Let kids have encounters in the home, in the house.

All of our kids went into full time ministry; we wanted our children to do what ever you want to do. If it was acting, dancing or something else.

Our only exposure for our kids to the kingdom can’t only be on Sunday morning; we need to teach children to see miracles in the home. Kids being in involved in prophesy, needs to start in the home.

Josef in the bible grew up in a family of dream translations.
